KAY SEA...

em sea eye.

Get it?  KC MCI - that's the airport here in Kansas City - and everyone here locally says it kind of drawn out.  Like the letters are words.  "Kayy Seea Emmm Sea Eye".

I love being back in the Midwest.  Just love it!

So I'm here in the hotel - and reading thru my emails and SHEESH you ladies are anxious.  I've gotten emails all day long from loyal readers - dying the see the new S.M.Arties work.  I know, I know - I promised it yesterday.  But life got in the way yesterday.  But here it is today...make that tonight...and I'm ready to start sharing.

First - I'd like to introduce you to Jenn, from St. Louis, Missouri.

Jenn is actually coming to the Kansas City CKC this weekend to hang out with us.  How fun does that sound?

Jenn lives in a house of all boys - so expect some wonderful "guy" themed projects!  Here are a few of the projects she sent me, as her design team submission!

This was her innovation - and her scrapbook page - and it blew my mind. Partially because I love Sassafras Lass paper - and partially because there are no robot dies on the market right now SO SHE MADE ONE!

Fonts: Blossom Mini; University; Khaki
Other Dies: Arrows; Large Photo Corner; Bead Border
Robot Head: Tag; TV; Gears; Apron (pocket used for squares behind eyes) and
Bottlecap label for mouth
Robot Body: Nameplate; piece from Cruise ship; Gears; Angel head used for
elbows; Bead border for legs
Stickles added for effect and robot raised with pop-dots for dimension.

Next, Jenn's cute "non-scrapbook project" was an adorable shadow box for her mother.

Scenic Route's Lynden collection and border sticker
Quickutz dies: Nutmeg; Rockstar; Toaster; Timer; Pie; Rolling Pin; Eggs; Saturn Ring (for
plate); Doll; Chef outfit; Scallop border

For her card, Jenn continued to use some innovations. How cute is this...

This uses Aquarius and Moxie fonts, the popcorn die and the new Mixing Bowl die, cut on the fold so it becomes an interactive element. Patterned paper
is Scenic Route Savannah - Lockwood Lane. Time, date, etc could be put on the bottom of the bowl or on the reverse side.

CUTE STUFF. Don't you think? Simply adorable! You can see why Jenn was easily selected as one of our first S.M.Arties!

I'll post this, and then keep working on the next batch. I'll feature Brenda next...because her pictures are next up in my que!  Wait until you see how many QK dies she got on a double-page spread!  It's amazing!

PEACE!

Thanks for Sharing! These are awesome! I love the interactive popcorn card. This would be great for a numerous list of events, just fill the bowl with different things... I am thinking cookie swap would be fun!
Have a great day everyone!
