12 Tags of Christmas Installment #2

Today is the second installment of our 12 Tags of Christmas Contest. The submissions are already starting to roll in and I can tell you it's gonna be a tough decision!

First off for today is the great reindeer tag from Jenn.

To create this folded tag, Jenn used the Quickutz Revolution Tag die. She folded the piece of double-sided paper and placed it on the die so that the paper stayed within the inside edge of the die. Then, after the tag was cut she opened it up and cut the window using the Quickuz Nesting Rectangles. Inside she added "be jolly" from the Quickutz Jolly Holiday Gift Set and the adorable little reindeer head to the front of the tag. Here's another look at the tag from a different angle.

A touch of ribbon through the top and that's it! Quick and easy but oh so cute!

Jenn's second tag is a pocket tag.

She used the Quickutz Revolution Library Pocket to create it. Jenn cut the pocket out of some patterned paper then added some holly from Jolly Gift Set and a border on the bottom using the Quickutz 12" Bead Border. This would be a great gift card holder. Don't you think?

Today's final tag comes from Tammy. Take a look at this:

To create this tag, Tammy used the Quickutz Manger and the star is from the Quickutz Silhouette Holly Gift set. What a great tag! I love the torn edges around the sentiment and the inking.

Thank you Tammy and Jenn for sharing your beautiful tags. Don't forget, the deadline for submissions is midnight Tuesday, December 16. Email them to me at Katie@scrap-mart.com. You can read more about the details of the contest here.

Thanks for stoppin' by! We'll see you back here Monday for the 3rd installment of 12Tags of Christmas.

I really like the manger tag. I have this die and am going to make my own take on this for myself. The reindeer head sans body is real cute too. These are great, and nice projects anyone could tackle. Thank you for sharing and inspiring!

are you going to post the tags as they come in? or are you going to post them all at the end?

I'm trying to decide if I should enter - I met the Scrap-Mart crew at the Atlanta show last year and loved the scrappy-chats we had (I work at Recollections...remember??).

Hmmmm - luckily it's the weekend, a great time to play!
