It's Quickutz Release Day...

and we're going "Back to Basics." This month's release is all about the office. Check it out...

Let's start with a quarter size comparison. Here, Jenn has the 2x2 cuts on the left and the Cookie Cutters on the right.

As you can see with the Binder Clip and the Paper Clip, the Cookie Cutter die is larger however, the Push Pin is the same size for both.

And here's a card Jenn made using the Push Pin and Sticky Note from the Office Supplies Cookie Cutter set along with the Sticky Note Alphabet.

Those Sticky Notes would be great for journaling on scrapbook pages too!

Here's another card Jenn created.

For this one, she searched the internet and found a diagram of a soccer field and printed it small enough so that it fits on the Clipboard! How cool is that? Then she used the Sticky Note Alpha again for the sentiment. Jenn has big plans for this clipboard...school pages, sports pages, doctor's checkups and more!

Now look at this cute cute layout from Veronica.

Veronica used her favorite font, Marigold, for her title. Bamse is a cartoon in Sweden and the title says "Bamses World." She also used the Nesting Stars (from March's release) and the new Nesting Circles. Here's a closeup of the title and embellishments.

You could do this with any of the new nesting shapes!

Also, Jenn did a little research for you Silhouette and Gazelle users and found the true type equivalent to the new Sticky Note font is called "Astronaut Jones". We'll be back tomorrow with our regularly scheduled "With us Wednesday" post. And we'll have a few more projects with the new dies too! Leave us a comment and let us know what your favorite new die is from this release! Thanks for stoppin' by! We'll see you tomorrow!

Great ideas. Esp love the cluster of nesting fonts. Favorite? How am I supposed to decide this fast :) I guess I think about times when I have an embellishment on hand but it's never the right color. . .so a die cut paper clip or pin would solve that problem. Then again, I really like the sticky note font. Thanks for another great blog

I love the new release!! Since I got my Slice I figured my QK days were over and stopped saving up for them, but now I have to figure out how to get my hands on some of these new goodies, including that giant bracket!!

I can't wait to see what the Design Team does with the new stuff.

P.S. can you explain Scrap-Mart's Quickutz Club a little bit?

Great projects, girls! I love this release and I'm not sure I can even pick a favorite...that just isn't fair. LOL BUT if I must, I guess I would say the giant push pin. He's just the cutest.

Hi Chel! Every month Quickutz releases a limited edition club die. The Scrap-Mart Quickutz club is very simple...spend $50 on any regular line QK products (excluded clearance) and you receive that month's club die. This month it is the polka dot arrow. For April, if you purchase the 2x2 bundle you automatically receive it. Hope that helps! Katie

That's awesome-- thanks Katie! So glad I don't need to pay to "join" anything.
