is probably the most asked question our Design Team receives. There are many ways to store them but with SO many different dies available now, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find a multi-purpose solution. Quickutz released 4x8 adhesive backed magnetic paper earlier this year and Jenn has found a great way to use them to help store her dies.
Jenn has cut her magnetic sheets down to 4x4 and puts her dies on them. Then, she slides them into the pages of the Revolution Storage Binders.
This photo shows sets of Quickutz Cookie Cutter Dies. This is great because it allows you to keep your die sets together.
Here, Jenn has a set of her Quickutz Nesting Dies on the 4x4 sheets.
And, as you can see, this is a perfect solution for your Spellbinders Nestabilities too!
If you have a unique storage solution that works for you, we'd love for you to share! Email your pics to me at Katie@scrap-mart.com.
Now onto some projects! Here's a layout from Veronica showcasing her son, Melker, and his "Funny Face!"
After I cut the baseball bat I used my Copics and added different colored strokes to give the bat a wood grain look. The title, bat, cap and silhouette of the catcher were all cut from the Sports Design Card.
Tammy received her Spring Gift Set, Relax, and couldn't wait to get scrappin'!
Don't you think the font looks like Spongebob's?! In addition to the Relax Gift Set Tammy used the Quickutz Nesting Flowers and Nesting Circles. What Gift Set did you get?
Thanks for stoppin' by today! We'll be back on Wednesday to thank a sponsor and share a project from our NSD challenge week. We hope to see you there!

Mother's Day is this Sunday and today we're sharing a few card ideas just in case you're a procrastinator like me! LOL! Our first card today comes from our friend and faithful blog participant Carrie Buss.
Carrie took advantage of our NSD challenges and created this card for her mom using Veronica's Bingo Challenge as her guideline. Carrie used the retired Quickutz Sunshine alphabet for her sentiment and a beautiful butterfly! Thanks for sharing with us, Carrie!
Veronica's getting a head start on her Mother's Day Card. They celebrate Mother's Day on the last Sunday in May in Sweden! Take a look at the card she created...
After adhering my patterned papers I added a pinked die cut circle, also from the Loveland Kit, and my sentiment which was cut with the Quickutz 4x8 Banana Split alphabet. A touch of ribbon and a hear-topped stick pen and that's it! See the little black hearts? I bet you'll never guess what those are! I was reorganizing some of my scrap supplies and ran across my Quickutz Rub-ons! I thought they'd add a nice touch!
Jenn's card was created using the Sizzix Bigz XL Flower Card die and Texture Plates.
The XL die cuts the flower card our for you and all you have to do is fold it! How great is that?! After texturing, Jenn added some Bling cardstock and a flower rhinestone to the center. She even made a video for us showing how easy it is to use the Texture Plates. Take a look...
I'd like to take a moment to thank our NSD challenge sponsors! A huge thank you goes out to Unity Stamps, Quickutz, Making Memories and of course, Scrap-Mart for donating all of our prizes! Starting next week we'll begin featuring our sponsors in our "With us Wednesday" posts.
Thanks to everyone for stopping by today! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend. I'll pop in on Sunday with a message to all you mothers out there then we'll be back on Monday! See you then!
time again. I also have 2 WINNERS to announce from Tammy's Treasure Hunt Challenge. But, before I do that let me share this layout from our friend, Carrie Buss.
Carrie created this layout for Jenn's Funky Title Challenge. She used the retired Quickutz Fiesta and Quickutz Chemistry for her title. Here's a closer view of the pages...
Thank you Carrie for sharing your cute layout with us! Good luck!
I couldn't wait to get my hands on this design card! I have 3 baseball players in my famiy! The baseball cap, the tag and the title were cut with the design card and the bat is a retired 2x2 Quickutz die. I also used my Quickutz 4x8 Moonlight and 4x8 Chick-a-Dee alphabets. To give the bat the "wood grain" appearance, I used my Copics to add random lines in 2 different colors. I LOVE the look it gave the bat!
Now, the moment you've been waiting for! Tammy has randomly chosen 2 winners and here they are! Congratulations to Lisa Foust! You've won 5 Copic Markers AND Unity Stamps Linden Branch and Itsy Bitsy Giggles. And Deborah Keizer, you've won 5 Copic Markers and Unity Stamps This is the Time Mini. Please email your addresses to katie@scrap-mart.com and we'll get your prizes right out to you! Thanks to everyone who played along! We appreciate you and your efforts! I'd also like to give a special thanks to Unity Stamps for sponsoring this challenge and offering their stamps as prizes! We'll see you back here Friday for more blog fun!
I hope you had a fabulous...and dry...weekend! Do you have a scrappin' hangover? Well, in case you're just getting started we have some more inspiring projects for you today.
Check out this layout Jenn created with the Silhouette Pop-up Flourish download.
Veronica used the new Quickutz Club Arrow die on this layout...
She used the Nesting Label Square for her photos and her journaling along with the cute 2x2 Pop-up Bird. We've had lots of quesions lately about our Quickutz Club. It's very simple! All you have to do is order! That's it! After you place your first order you'll be able to log in to the site to view the special "club pricing" AND when you place a $50 Quickutz order (sorry, clearance items excluded) you will receive that month's Club die! No fees or gimmicks!
Thanks so much for stoppin' by today! We appreciate you! Don't forget you have until 7 pm tomorrow to send your Scavenger Hunt answers to Tammy and you have until Wednesday night to get your submissions in for the rest of the challenges. Thanks to you all for playing along and for all of your comments! Have a wonderful Monday and we'll see you back here Wednesday!

Quickutz has some fabulous new backgound downloads. You challenge is to create a project...any project...using one of the new background downloads. We will randomly choose 2 winners to receive a package of Silhouette Sketch Pens and a roll of Vinyl!
Here's Veronica's layout...
I just LOVE that circles background! Here's a close up view...
Veronica used Magnolia for her title. Isn't that a beautiful layout?!
You have until Wednesday, May 6th at midnight to email your project to Veronica at veronicao@scrap-mart.com. Winners will be announced Friday, May 8th here on the blog!
Well, there you go! Thanks to everyone for playing along in the challenges and hanging out with us this week. Good luck to all the participants! We'll see you back here for our regular Monday post!
Ladies and Gents, I present to you my very first Bosskut Gazelle project and a new National Scrapbook Week challenge!!
I cut the new cruise ship shape as well as the wave file for the border. Both designs are available for download at www.bosskutdesigns.com. Don’t you just love the flow of the steam coming out of the top of the ship? I cut that in white and colored it with my Copic B41 Powder Blue sketch marker. I chalked the tops of the waves and used pop-dots for dimension. The Bosskut digital designs rock! The title is true type font “Ballpark.”
So here is the challenge: simply show us your Gazelle projects and you could win one of 2 $25 digital download gift code from Boss Kuts! Either email them to katie@scrap-mart.com, or post a comment and link to your project on this blog entry. Happy crafting!!
There you have it! Now remember, you can cut Boss Kut designs with your Silhouette too and if you have the SCAL software you can even cut them with your Cricut! We'll see you back here at 4 pm with our final challenge of the day!
